September 20, 2026 | Worship God, and Nothing Else

This sermon explores the second commandment and the danger of giving created things the devotion that belongs to God alone. Idolatry asks something created to do what only the Creator can do, whether that idol is money, success, relationships, power, or anything else we trust for identity and security. The good news is that we do not have to chase counterfeit gods, because the living God has already come near to us in Jesus Christ.
